Background: Hi there, I'm Ashley. I'm a licensed clinical social worker. I graduated from Millersville University in 2015 with my MSW and have been working in community-based care with children/adolescents and their families for the past 4 years. In that time I've specialized in working through issues such as anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationship struggles, and adjusting through life's hardships.
Clientele: I primarily work with female-identifying individuals from pre-adolescence into adulthood. I'm happy to meet with folks from any and all lifestyles and backgrounds.
Approach: I consider myself a holistic therapist- I believe in listening to and integrating the messages of our body, mind, and spirit into our whole Self. I utilize CBT, mindfulness, creative/experiential interventions, journaling, and gentle yoga in treatment. I believe we all hold the power to foster self-love, honor our personal values, and live a life of worth living.
About me: In my free time I love to play the violin, practice yoga, go hiking, play Dungeons and Dragons, cook, and enjoy time with my cherished human and feline companions.
